John Mayer and Philip Phillips at the Webster Bank ArenaJust one month after getting a press pass to Elton John, I got the amazing opportunity to photograph John Mayer and his opening act Philip Phillips in concert at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT. Have I said I love photographing bands? Because I LOVE photographing bands! Especially when John Mayer's in it! It was Christmas time, and we were in his hometown, so he seemed very connected. He thanked everyone for supporting him all these years and talked a little bit about the neighborhoods he used to ride his bike in and where he grew up, and of course he sang and performed incredibly, and I got to walk past Katy Perry! It was just an amazing night, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it.
